Getting Influencers To Do Your Brand Marketing For You! - Austin Stanfel

According to Austin Stanfel: Marketing and brand recognition are ever evolving. From billboards to TV ads to internet ads at the start of YouTube videos marketing is always moving with the crowd. The current place to be is now the phone apps. Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, TikTok etc. This is the case because this is where Gen Z and the millennials are.

Where does Gen Z and millennials do their impulse shopping?

Gen Z and millennials are have everything I ever wanted right now sorts of people. On average they spend 4 hours and 15 minutes on their phones every single day. Let’s assume they’re working full time 9-5 type jobs where they can’t be scrolling on their phones. That means they only have a few hours before work or the 5-6 hours between finishing work and sleeping to get that 4.25 hours in. Safe to say a lot of that spare time is spent scrolling through Facebook or Instagram. That is where they do their impulse shopping.
73% of Generation Z are on Instagram, that means if you can get your brands popularity higher on Instagram you open yourself and your brand up to an enormous level of product viewership.

The higher the product viewership then higher consumer interest will be in that product. The higher you can raise consumer interest in said product the higher product sales should be and the better your bottom line will be. Basically, everyone gets what they want. Therefore currently, apps such as Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook are crucial to the online brand.
The influence of influencers

Enter the influencer, they are the bridge between you the supplier and the customer. Influencers will in a way guide how people spend their extra cash.
87% of millennials on Facebook said they use a social media site for travel inspiration. This means that if you can drive that 87% towards a particular service, product or experience your brand provides, the odds are incredibly high that some of that 87% will give you their business. This is exactly the influencers job; you tell them what you want, and they convince people they want it too. Keep them on that path and it will likely be a very profitable business relationship for both parties.

The marketing trends of 2019 won’t necessarily be the trends of 2020, technology is evolving at break-neck speeds and in order to stay competitive you need to jump on whatever the bandwagon of the day is. Influencers are just the next evolution of that, but as the above stats show they are also your consumer base. So, who better to know how to sell to your consumer base then members of your consumer base? The influencer is trying to sell a product to their friends so to speak.

Austin Stanfel
believed that the influencer is just a new form of marketing that business’s have to get used to in order to be successful. Embracing this and learning how to employ them properly could make a massive difference towards your brands marketing presence.
